Lol at the Intrepid comment.

I've heard people comment on the oil temperature gauge before (or probably read it in a review), saying that it is "very important" for this car. I hope that doesn't mean that it is prone to overheating, but just that people who have such a car like to keep track of every little detail as much as possible.

Also, would it be a good idea to let the oil warm up some before driving real hard? I've heard that most damage to car engines is done within the first few minutes of starting it up, and I assume that most of that is due to cold or not well distributed oil... is that right, or is it just propaganda to get people to spend money?
