Default changing transmission fluid to increase mpg

2004 Ford Focus ZX5 manuel hatchback 2.0L DOHC

So I was thinking of using a very thin trans fluid. Since I need to change my CV shaft draining the fluid will be simple enough. Do any of you know how to add the new fluid in? Also does anyone know what kind of fluid I should buy, and what the thinnest a focus can use? I live in canada so I can use thin fluid anyways, it never gets really hot, and is usually freezing or colder 40% of the year.
Oh yeah and also how much will I need roughly? Ideally I would want as close to the right amount as possible.
