From what i've gathered this is a project car bud. If the climate is too hot or too cold he can drive one of his other cars. Besides, there's many cars even in the US that don't come with standard A/C. Put down the pitchforks.

ABS necessary on every medium of transportation you know of? What does that mean?

Cars: ABS is standard on most cars, yes. Semis, they're equipped but you can easily lock em up anyway.
Motorcycles: Definitely up and coming, but nowhere near standard.
Bicycles: Not even close.
Trains: Doubt it.
Camels: Unlikely.
Airplanes: ABS wouldn't help much.

You cannot possibly compare things like starter motors and steering wheels to air conditioning and antilock brakes. Get real man.
