Hey all... quick question... I recently got new brakes and a new tie rod (as it was almost fallen off) and my steering still continues to wiggle. When I am driving at residential street speed it wiggles enough to bother me, and when driving highway speeds it vibrates (and pulls to the right a bit - but still feels more comfortable as the steering isnt wobbling considerably). I noticed as well when I simply take my foot of the brake and let the car creep, the steering wheel moves to the right and then back again, and then to the right and back again... almost like something is pulling it to the right and then letting it go. Not sure if this is a wheel balancing/alignment issue? I am suppose to be going on a road trip in the next few weeks and I'm hoping it's just a minor issue that can be fixed... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ciao guys!

It could be that your tires are not aligned properly, you should check for un-even wear on them. It could also be your steering column, or even your brakes. Did you just replace your brake pads or did you do rotors and everything? Tire balancing doesn't really affect the direction of travel, it would just make your ride a lot louder than normal, as wheel balancing is not mandatory for a safety. Your tires might need to be replaced if they are worn badly.

My mate had a tire the the wrong way round on the front right and that made the steering wriggle

Get the tires balance and wheels aligned.
