Best prices for tires online and/or retail

Anyone know the best/cheapest e-tailer to buy tires? I'm looking for performance tires in the sizes 2x 225/45/17 and 2x 245/45/17 they're going to be put on an Everret Morrison Cobra Kit my dad and I had worked on(When I went off to college the poor car sat in the garage for 3 yrs)... Still need fill in some cracks and then wet sand the fiberglass body but aside from paint and the wheels/tires its ready:D.

I'd say search ebay first, I picked up a set of 35x12.50r15 maxxis bighorns for $600 a set on there. With a little patience you can usually find really good deals.

On www.wheelsforless.com , they have the toyo proxes 4 for 104.67 and 120.40 for the sizes you want. I've ordered from them before, had no troubles.
That should give you an idea of what to be willing to pay online.

Those wheels look good, and not a bad price IMHO.

Those are some narrow tires for a cobra dont you think!? I would run atleast 275's in the rear if you could...

Tire rack has some decent prices on performance tires... I got a set of pretty good Kuhmo 255/40/17's for just over $180/piece.

I would definitely hit up ebay first, you can find some solid new wheels/tires and some good used deals too. Ive used this site before to buy tire/wheel package deals which is linked up with ebay so it makes the search a little easier.
