put on some ceramic pads on the front of my durango and now i notice that they squeak pretty bad when i stop and i hear a noise, which sounds like the pad rubbing the rotar, but someone else said it might be some bareings going out. how can i check for these things

Performance ceramic pads sometimes do make the noises you are describing.
As far as bearings, jack up the rig, place your hands at 12 and 6 o'clock, and feel for any play or slack, do the same for 3 and 9 o'clock positions. Then turn the wheel and see if it is smooth with little to no noise(it is best to have the pads removed for the last one). If that checks out, you most likely do not have a bearing problem.
These tests will determine if there is play in the ball joints or tie rods as well, so if slack is found, you will have to determine where it is at. Just make sure to put the jack under the lower control arm to take all load off the ball joints.

On rages note, by feeling for slack he means try to rock the wheel back and fourth with your hands in those positions... You will feel if there is slack because the wheel will rock in and out and make a thud noise.
