Just posting again about my new Eibach Sportlines, you can see the pictures in my other thread.

Body roll has been drastically reduced, I can corner much more confidently (actually I don't even drive very hard or fast so I don't even know why I am saying that). I just love the look of these things, eliminated that annoying wheelgap.
Anyways, I just thought I would contribute towards the new suspension section.

I think my sol is in need of some suspension upgrades :D it is at 240,000 with no body modifications :D lets just say it needs new bushings all around and myabe some stiffening. All I can say is the thing corners like a god. I personally don't take it too its limits because i dont know of a place where i can do it safely. The one road where i like to play is getting straigtend. it used to wind and go through a wash. but gets flooded so they are putting in a bridge. It think they have a bypass area for it now. I might try and go play there tomorrow and record a video. I am changing the o2 sensor on my girlfriends car tommorow I think. It just had the check engline light come on and the code says o2 sensor. maybe it owuld make a simple guide :D

The rear o2 sensor in my gtp was bad, it actually broke off due to the way it was mounted after the ubend in the exhaust was removed. I was going to put an o2 simulator so it would stop throwing the ses light but I never got around to it.

Haha, I know exactly what you mean. Don't worry, 95% of drivers are exactly like that, myself included. Anyone who actually pushes their car to its limits on the road is either nuts or drives a car from the 19th century.

You are so right, when do you ever see high performance car users push their cars to the limit? You know I don't ever think I have seen a Corvette go full throttle! I drove my GTP pretty hard but nowhere near the limit, this car I don't think I will drive very hard at all since it has to last me some time (need to be able to move out, at least before I end college).

I love to take my truck out on some twisties and push it pretty hard, if i hit a good sharp corner just right i can get the ass end to come out around just a bit and then tuck it right back it and slingshot down the straight away, i had a guy in a brand new monte carlo trying to keep up with my truck around some nice corners, sadly to say he couldnt. I think he was just to scared to get on it.
Its amazing what some good aftermarket parts will do to your suspension
when the ball joints started going in my truck, i ripped out the a arms and bought all new polyurathane bushings from performance suspension tech, and replaced the springs with some bellteck 2inch dropped springs and belltech 1 inch dropped spindles http://www.p-s-t.com/ and graphite empregnated ball joints and tie rod ends. the poly bushings really stiffened things up alot. along with kyb gas adjust shocks all around , in the rear i replaced the leaf spring bushings with poly ones and bought some 3 inch dropped leafsprings , i can still pull a trailer and a boat ect with no problems, its really stiff.
ps: GTP are you still driving around with a bad o2 sensor? that can really cause alot of performance problems, as your o2 sensor tells the computer how much air and fuel to give at any givin time. I know when mine was bad in my truck it ran like dog, so i replaced it with a bosch o2 sensor and its been fine ever since.

I do :sneaky:
I bought my car because I love driving fast. If I wasn't going to do it then why the hell would I need this thing.

If i had a Porsche or something i'd drive the piss out of it. Well, i usually drive the piss out of my cars anyway. My Prelude had Tokico Illumina adjustable shocks and Ground Control coilovers. One of the best handling cars i have ever been in. Believe it or not it was incredible. I cornered HARD in the thing all the time. Everyone thought i was crazy when they rode with me. I am a good driver (im not just saying that). I dont do stupid crap if cars are around, but i took corners extremely fast in that thing. Now the Camaro is a different story. Stock suspension... sucks. I cant wait until i get better suspension. I have to go slow around corners and its annoying after being spoiled by good suspension.
