After reading the above post on armor glass it reminded me of a Armored truck that came into our shop one day.

It was in late August hotter than hel! and a Armor Truck company brought thier truck in because the a/c wasn't working. Well it was very busy that day (always is when it's hot) and after I had been given that job the driver of the truck informed me of the inside door lock and how to operate it. I'm kinda laughing inside thinking, Dude its just a door lock! So what he said went in one ear and out the other without so much a thought. So I said thanks for informing me. Next thing I know I'm in this truck, it's probally 130 degrees with no a/c and I can't open the door  ! Man! talking about a terrible feeling of panic coming over you. I know that in a worst case situation a window can be broke to get out of a vehicle. Not this one, all armor! I felt like I was in a oven coffin. Well after I finnally pulled myself together knowing that no one outside the truck was going to be able to help me I figured out the freaking door lock. That was four years ago and to this day every time I see a Armor truck I get a bad feeling come over me. Well thats my story hope you enjoyed reading it.

Moral of the story when people tell you something you should listen to what they are saying.

How did you open it? Or is that something that you cannot disclose.

To be honest I can't remember what that latch looks like. All I remember is when I first looked down at the door handle it was like nothing I had ever seen. And I hope to never see one again. Anyway I look back now and get a pretty good laugh out of it.
