ight i have 2 12" jl audio w6 d-4, compasider, and a jl audio 1000/1 amp when i try to bump the music usually the bass is so loud i can't hear the song should i replace the front and rear speakers or buy a separate amp for just those 4 speakers. i drive a 98 honda civic lx. just curious thanks...

Replace them with some nice components up front, and some midbass or coax speakers in the rear. All should be powered off an amp.

today witch is 5/5 i was coming home from work i had my speakers going and i dont it is the subs sounding its not as clear and its making my headlights a little dimmer when the bass hits i am pretty sure i got some problem and i am no expert

Sounds like they're not getting enough power. What kinda of upgrades have you made to the electrical system? Specifically the battery, alternator and the "big 3" ( the wires going from ground to alternator, alternator to battery) ?

A) Please type in proper english, it helps us oh so very much!
B)I agree with r3tard, it sounds like a lack of power issue. You may want to start with a big 3 upgrade using atleast 4ga wire and adding an extra ground to chassis.

yeah its going from the alternator to the battery then to my compasider. it is 4 gauge wire as well... but i believe it is a stock battery from Honda well i think so not sure and i know the alternator has never been changed

So you did upgrade the big 3? Or did you just look at the wire and assume its 4ga? Also, its a capacitor...lol If your having major power issues, the only real way to solve the problem is get a higher output alternator.
