A small motor (I presume a fan) continues to cycle on and off after shutdown in my '96 850 non-turbo. The only way I can stop it is by disconnecting the battery. Is this a common problem and is it easily fixed?

are you sure its not the fan that cools the radiator, if it is you should let it run, it helps cool your car down faster.

it's the compressor for the air ride suspension probably just eave it alone. Or have it checked coyuld be a leak causing it to cycle more often then it should.
