Hey fellas!!!!! :)

Question for a mate, he has a Jaguar x-type 2002 Fwd. Got in it this morning and it wouldn't start, he said the engine wasn't turning over, it was just making a clicking noise. i suggested it could have been sumthing to do with the solonoids, but i basicaly am clueless. Any of you have any ideas, feed back muchly appreciated.

Thanks

It does sound like its a dead battery, has he tried shorting out the starter motor to get it to turn, thats what happened to my VW when the ignition died

Yeah, it was the battery. i went down the coast sunday to have a look at it, we couldn't find anything wrong, i asked if he had check bat... he said yes, bought a new one then took it back cause it made no differ, he got a towy dude out, to tow it to brissy, he said it was the bat, and jumped it. Stupid me for not doing that.

CASE CLOSED
