I'm pretty happy, I just started a new policy with Progressive about 2 weeks ago for the Cobalt SS and the price per month turned out to be 126. I just 2 letters in the mail from them last week showing my sheduled payments, the first one showed the 126 a month and the second one showed 114 a month. I call them up and it turns out they lowered my rates to the 114 a month due to my previous insurance record.

So all in all I am pretty satisfied, I switched to progressive after seeing how they fixed the GTP pretty quickly after it was hit in the parking lot by a semi truck driver carrying Progressive insurance. Here is a picture of it after it was hit by the truck:

My dad shows me insurace rates in 6 month intervals and it's like $1200-1400 or so just for me driving a '96 318is :( it's ridiculous.

Actually born that sounds about right if you are trying to get the insurance yourself not being a rider on your parents. For me on a sports car most insurance companies want about $500 a month.
