bah I thought this was an Autolite 1100, but then I realized it doesn't have the mounting points for the automatic choke which i thought had been taken off...this is in a 65 mustang with the 200ci I6 that doesn't have the manual choke linkage...the previous owner just has the choke zip tied open lol. Guess that explains why he has it running so rich. Looks like its missing the vent link rod too XD. Can anyone identify it?

MY best guess would be either a Carter or a Holley.
AFAIK the larger 1bbl for my 300ci six will fit on the 200's intake, and it flows 300CFM easy.

Well, I wonder if Gauvenator ever found out about this carb?
Well, i can tell ya its an Autolite 1100
Its the single diaphram so its off of a manual transmission vehicle. The automatics had dual diaphragms. I see its got a zip strip for a manual choke now. I see where the cable went in to it before. There should be some ID marks by the diapragm. I see its been rebuilt two times before.
Heres a breakdown on that carb for ya.

awesome thanks! i was just assuming it wasnt an 1000 because it didn't have an auto-choke.
I'm debating just replacing it or trying to fix it up....car runs ok its just a little annoying at a cold startup cuz the choke is all open all the time. You know where I might find a choke cable? would sure save some money over a new carb i bet :D

Most parts stores will have Manual Choke cables. Jusat ask em.... most at long enought. some you will have the shorten. That rusted bracket with the zip strip by it.... Thats the part that holds the outer sleeve of the choke cable. It looks like that carb had a cable on it at one time. Just buy the cable is all you have to do. It looks ready now. :)
Also.... I did say 1100.... you said 1000 fyi
