Thoughts on Rusty!

Eh. Too much. No car would ever get that rusted and still have much left to the frame or body. Personally I'd prefer a bit of rust in a few spots for more of a sleeper look.

Painted on rust? No. And never rust in that kind of quantity.

It's just like all other car mods. Moderation is the key. A small spoiler makes some cars stunningly beautiful, and indeed others can pull off a spoiler so large that it gives ricers an envy stiffy(See: Plymouth Superbird, top fuel rail, Formula 1, Le Mans). But, just the same, too obnoxious or big of one, or one that doesn't smoothly blend in and look like it belongs there, just makes the car look dumb.

I'll let my truck get a little body surface rust, but not my enjoyment to paint fake looking rust on.

Just to let you all know, this is not painted on rust ;)

The whole surface was rusted :D

In that case i think for me it would actually look BETTER if it were rusted through in a couple places. Just my :2c:

In other words, they sanded every bit of paint and primer off and let it sit for a few weeks? I don't really see the attraction...
