Idealy, it is an interesting idea that'll probably develope some good discussions. But realistically, like pbasil1 mentioned, it'll just be one group bashing the other group & vice versa. A good example are the threads in overclock.net regarding either AMD & Intel or ATI & nVidia; they usually starts out pretty civilized, but always end up one group flaming the other

Fun, but unnecissary on a forum... It will just be a flame fest... I posted a thread about 1 yr ago on OCN about the AMS evo owning muscle cars... and all the muscle car guys whined and cried about how unfair it was..blah blah blah... (no offense)

well the only reason I mention this as an idea is because where do you think I got the idea from? other forums. Plus their isnt even that many members here for to much to start, and when their is many more member well then the forum should have good moderators like a forum should have.

We are not trying to be like those other forums who wage wars of words that noone can win. Its like asking The Us army and Iraqi insurgents to play nice. It will not happen. Besides alot of newer cars are much like their import counterparts. If you are talking about old muscle cars VS new Sport compacts. I could see things being slightly more civil. But nor really. It is two totally different schools of auto knowledge. That topic always ends in headaches and hate.
