OK, my door panels shake when I turn up the volume to any "decent" level. These speakers shake, though they are just simple 2-way Sony 6 inch'ers. How What are my options? I don't see any way to re-enforce the panels... Here's a pic:

It's a volvo... lol JK
Try and see if any of the door clips are loose. If not, see if the screw are going into the door itself, not the panel.

I can't screw them into the door itself, it's not close enough, and there isn't anything to grip on... Is there a way I can strengthen the bond between the door panel and the door frame?

Can you get your hands on, or fab one yourself, a 6 1/2" space filler? You could somehow bolt the thing to your door and have the speaker bolt onto the other end of it however far from the door.

Is there anything in the pockets that are rattling? If not, do what you must and remove the panels, or even try just tightening the screws that hold it on. If this doesnt work, remove the panels and grab some stuff called Dynomat. Its a sound deadening/vibration absorbing material used for car adio applications. The stuff is great! You can get a "door kit" which is enough to cover 2 doors, and what you would do with it is remove the panels and apply it to the sheet metal on the door, and inside the door its self. Also anywhere you think may be rattling aswell.

I fixed it! The screws were loose, lol. Later I'll bolt them on there.
