Well, You pretty much got it. Rob zombie is good, I personally listen to old rock, Old school hip-hop, Nothing to crazy I dont drive with my stereo all the way up, something just right. If your racing or something like that, You Probably want hardcore, That will keep you motivated and all that good stuff!

Various things. Rap when I'm going to be late for something and I need to be motivated to go fast. Rock most of the time (Black Sabbath is a favorite). If I'm going to be driving a long way, I turn on something like Dylan or the Beatles.

I know it's impossible to listen to this in your car; but when I'm on my computer I've been listening to Lone Star 92.5 lately. It's great! Real DJs pick out the best classic rock and country. But not just old stuff, they place Wilco and some newer bands. Check it out here (http://www.lonestar925.com/).

get some Atreyu, five finger death punch and CKY. that my friend is some good driving music.

Malaziel

In my opinion CKY is good cruising music but not for performance driving. Honestly I don't listen to music while I am doing spirited driving as I prefer to hear my car.

Well I don't usually have my stereo on but when I do it all depends on the mood. Rock, hard rock, death metal :), techno, very little rap *mainly for the beats*

I listen to Heavy and Death metal while in my ford explorer :) I love to hear that double bass hit on my 12's

Jungle drum & bass. Its fast and has lots of transitions between music.
If you have Need For speed most wanteed the song by stratus, and another by evol intent are really good driving tracks. I love to jam out and run down some twisting roads while listening to some fast paced music with no words:aaevil:

I really need to find a track... I can't keep my foot light enough to keep the cops off of me.

Back on-topic: I listen to anything that i feel like listening to at that time.

trivium also makes some good music to drive to, most of their heavy metal is fast paced and the song "the crusade" has no words and is about 8 minutes long... i have a lot of fun with that one on the back roads

I listen to the radio broadcasting news and pop music. When I switch on the CD I go for Italian rock music. I'll give you an example:

I have Sirius radio so I flip, or I listen to a CD in my changer... not often are the Local FM stations blastin ;)... Then again, the best music is the sound of a Finely tuned Turbocharged 4 banger ;)

.....Which mine isn't.. Getting there, but still needs work..

Fast paced rock. I don't really care for metal.

Atreyu, Tool....stuff like that.

If I am not in the mood for that I will listen to something like Muse or Progressive rock
