Default Best sound system?

I am looking to lease a car for the first time and that unfortunately means I cannot replace the crappy stock speakers with GOOD ones. Even in 2012, I find most cars' stock speakers/sound system is just not very good at all. There's no bass or feel to the music whatsoever. I mean maybe in $50, $75, $100K cars they might, but I am not looking to spend that much.

Can anyone tell me which brand of car around or under $25K has the BEST speakers/sound system out there? I don't need earth-shattering bass, but I would like to feel SOMETHING when a song plays, ya know? And I tend to play music loud, especially in summer while the windows are down and I'm going 80mph on the highway, so I'd also like to avoid cars with speakers that get all distorted at loud volumes.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. To give an example, I drove a 2012 Volkswagon Jetta and the poor sound quality made me want to cry. I really don't care about other car features, I'm not a car guy, but good quality sound while driving is very important to me.

A Mustang with the Shaker 500/1000 systems. My supervisor has an 07 'Stang with the Shaker 500. The two 8" subs in the doors really kick. Like, really kick.

Believe it or not from my experience the stock setups in most of all the dodge/chrystler line up have damn good sound and the dont charge an arm and a leg for it. Go test drive a few and see what you think. Also, dont think that just because something has a BOSE, or Infinity, Or Shaker, Or Rockford fosgate system its better than the base unit. Let your ears do the talking. From my experience most of those systems just arent worth the extra few $k.

^what he said. My mom's Cruze could've had a $700 Pioneer system for an option. The stock system has aux and USB in and excellent sound quality with good bass (for a compact car anyway).
