Default Best Mod for playing Ipod/Iphone through the Navigation Head Unit on a 2008 Escalade?

I am looking to do away with CDs. Looking to install a mod preferably in the armrest to plugin and charge my ipod touch/ iphone 5 and have the ability to control it though the head unit. What would you guys recommend?

Funny you should mention that. I was looking at Pioneer heads to replace the stock head in my car, and plenty of units that allow full iPod/iPhone functionality.

You will have to pay a premium for those units, however.

How does an Escalade not have an auxiliary input?

I'm pretty sure that's never been done before. You would have to replace the head unit.

Sure it has. There are few options, I just need to figure out which one works the best.

An alternative would be to get a USB Flash Drive (64GB). Is there an adapter that will read the flash drive and all to be controlled through the factory nav head unit?
