Default Subwoofers

I finally installed my 2 jbl gto 12's and the high
bass notes are phenomenal, but on the lows, its pretty weak from doing a little research I hear that the box makes a pretty big difference on SQ. I purchased a box from best buy & I might sell this one and buy a different one, do you guys think a better box will make the lows a lot better?

A sealed or properly tuned ported box will improve performance significantly. What amp did you end up getting?

Did you buy a sealed box or did it have a port?

Go with either a larger sealed box, or we can try to find a good ported box thats tuned low. Finding good ported boxes that are prebuilt is hard though.

Should I go with one of the boxes suggested in the other forum?

Use the box calculator to figure out how big each chamber is, if you get 1.2 cu'ft or more for each sub, your good with a sealed box. Jus plug in the dimensions they list for the box, and dived it by 2 for 2 subs.

Ultimately i would hope to find a 1.4-1.5 cu'ft per chamber box for the subs. No bigger than that really, and certainly no smaller than 1.2 cu'ft
