Default [J] Chevrolet Trailblazer is Back

Quote:
First introduced in 1999, the Chevy Trailblazer was originally nothing more than an upscale trim level for the Chevy Blazer. Then, in 2002, at the height of our free-spending, 0% financing and cheap gas days, it was upgraded to its very own platform. Seven years later, it was thought that in a world of four-buck-a-gallon gas, it was discontinued, and we thought it would never live again. We were all wrong. Because now GM's bringing it back.
The Chevrolet Trailblazer is back!

New Colorado platform...they're doing it right and doing it S-truck style

My rigs:

1985 Ford F150 | 4x2 | 300ci OHV inline six | 4-speed OD manual | 310K | No power brakes | Running 100% - It hasn't driven this good in 15 years!

1984 Ford F150 | 4x2 | 300ci six | granny four | 3.55 rear end | 210K | Brakes shot. Rear drums are doing most of the work. Not fit to drive due to that.
1997 Ford Explorer XLT | 4.0L Vulcan V6 | 5-speed automatic | shift-on-the-fly 4WD | 210,000 miles | Running 95% - Needs brakes on all four corners + bald tires
1989 Ford F150 | 300cid six...again | 5-speed | 4x4 | 160K | Needs brakes done as well. Oi!

Never liked the trailblazer. And now it looks like it's going to be a crossover.

Chevy SUV's that matter: Blazer, Tahoe, Suburban

lol screw the wheezy 4.3L, bring back the revised Atlas 300HP 4.2L Inline-6 with a Manual and 4WD.

You know this as good as anyone, its best when 6 in a row makes it go.

Again, read the article. It's got a truck frame.

Just so everybody is aware, this is what GM is porting over to the U.S. It'll have some small tweaks, but this is the general layout of the new colorado.

New Chevrolet Colorado Pickup Confirmed for U.S. - GM Inside News Forum

I think it's full of lulz. I doubt it will sell well unless they put a decent turbo diesel or an I6 in it. I am in favor of both.

I don't care what the article says. Even though I read it, and they think it may look like a crossover, too.
The image they show makes the car look as appealing as a Jeep Compass.

The front end of those Colorado's look weak. Needs to be more aggressive. It's a pickup, not a Van with a bed.
