![]() As soon as I realized it wasn't moving, and thusly wasn't a real child, I would drop a gear, blast the throttle wide open and haul some ass, just to spite whoever thinks this will work. If I'm already in first I'll just jam the throttle open.
Also, cry wolf effect will make it's presence known. Stick to existing speed bumps, they work fine.

![]() Exactly. Right now as soon as I see a kid I lock up my brakes. Now I'll have to take a few seconds to figure out if its a real kid or not. I love government over-engineering.
Also, anyone who cares about their car will obviously slow down for old-fashioned concrete bumps.
