Default sP00N's '04 Altima 3.5SE

Drove my new 04 Altima off of the lot today. Definitely an upgrade from my F150 lol. :P

I'll post more once I'm not drunk. I've already ordered a sony headunit and the only thing I need to do is get the tires properly balanced.

Nice, looks clean and well kept. Is it an auto?

I like the way the tint works with the color of the car, but what's with the bubble on the roof?

Yeah it's an auto. The bubble is some JDM tyte aero mod that adds 10 HP. jk It's just some guard for the sun roof, I might remove it if it's not a pain to do so.

Got all the stuff to do my headunit swap. (Wiring harness, SWI, dash kit, antenna adapter.)

It reduces drag when the sunroof is open

Not bad at all. I personally think the tail lights would look better with less chrome, maybe a light smoke would help. The radio looks pretty good as well - Many newer cars are going with dashboard integrated head units and they make it hard to blend in a custom setup.

I was thinking about this earlier - Does this have the VQ35DE engine similar to the Z chassis cars? I was thinking it had the QR, but I thought that maxed at 2.5L.

Yep it has the VQ35DE in it I had the QR25DE in my Sentra and I was not pleased with it. Not to mention that 02-04 Nissans with the QR25 are known have major exhaust issues.

Very nice spoon, I looked into the vq for a swap and I can say that those are pretty great engines. They rev to 7500 in their new 3.7 form. Lots of power adders available.
