Question 04 Lancer es..Worth it

So Im 16 years old and i had just inherited a 2004 lancer Es (automatic). I wanted to know if you guys think this its worth it to work on and make it fast? cuz i really want a car i can work on and tune and make it as fast as i can.

Sorry bud, the lancer isn't going to be very fast without sinking a lot of money into it (). Take it from someone who's followed that path before and find a more suitable car to start modifying instead.

If you let us know what you're looking for in a car we can point you in the right direction. And there is no need to buy something else now. You can learn the basics of maintenance with this car and progress further with your next.

oh haha ya that is what i thought and well obviously money is a factor but i am working so i can earn money to modify a car. what im looking for is just something that i can work on and modify. Thats basically it im open to any suggestions

you're not making enough to make that 4g63 powerful AND reliable...they're a finicky motor, even in stock form.
learn to drive, than worry about power.

Yeah, Lancers don't have much potential without a lot of money. Contrary to popular belief, the Evo doesn't share much other than badges and a few body panels with the Lancer.
