Default My eurotramp (Saab 9-3 Aero 2002)

Hello! im new here. Fresh meat as you would say.

I wanted to join a non-swede forum just for fun and to connect with other people from different countries.
Be aware my english can be a bit shaky at times. Im from Sweden.
Ive got a small but flaming interest in american classics like the old Nova, Impala, Chevelle, Caprice etc. Maybe its because of my Hip-hop taste.
These cars are way to expensive and hard to find in my country, so iŽll "have to" lve with my Saab for now.
One day I will have oe of those listed models though, trust me on that.

Anyway, heres my babe.

gtbb30 with a custombuilt exhaust manifold
open wastegate from Tial burning holes in the ground beneth the engine
custom 3" intake to the turbo with a huge K&N filter
custom intercooler with 3" tubes delivering boost to the engine
HKS racing blow off valve
forged JE pistons
1200cc injectors handeling e85 (ethanol)
gigantic fuelpump inside the gas tank
intake manifold has got some work done to it, the bottom is cut out and replaced with a 3" tube and therefor now much larger
Balanceshafts removed for easier revving

Thats all enginewhise I can think of right now.
It produces about 470hp and 560nm in the engine.
This winter im rebuilding the engine to 2.3l and with forged connetcing rods aswell as lighter flywheel and better fuel system

Transmission is stock exept for a Quiafe differential and some thick blue/grey racing oil in the gearbox that sticks to EVERYTHING like glue

Ive replaced all bushings and enginemounts to blue poly ones.
Got a set of Koni dampers laying that will be mounted this winter.

Inside Ive got a 12" sub in the back with a fire extinguisher next to it, all speakers replaced to bigger and more powerful ones
modern stereo with great software
All seats is standard, leather, electric adjustments, ass warmers etc.

The rest is visible in the pics.
It was black erlier but I grew tired of it, plus I hate scrathess and bumps so this race look makes it more okay with a few scratches here and there.

What do you think?
Anyone wants to see it in action?

CHeers, go easy on me!

Not particularly, just look around. The "what did you do to your car today" thread is more the "talk about random crap here" thread.

Okay so now Ive installed my Koni shocks. At the same time I lowered the car about 1cm, so its now a total of 40-45mm lower than stock.
Ive also switched wheels and put down some time into polishing them

Heres a video of my beast, its some months old though

Welcome to CFN!

It looks like you have the beginnings of a rather serious track car here.

I personally had built myself a Nissan S13 (known as the 240SX here in the US, 180SX outside the US) that was stripped down to 2300lb/1040kg running an incredibly responsive SR20DET with 300hp/300lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels.

Anyways, I look forward to seeing more pics of the car!

Woow, that sounds like fun!

Yeah it looks like a tack car and sure, it will see some action on the tracks. But its really just my personal transportation vehicle lol. The biggest fun I know is racing oon the streets.
