Water leak on the inside. There is a TSB out on it, just some low quality grommets need replacing and maybe some drains need blowing out. Gonna do it around the same time I do the speakers and dynamat. Trying to everything ready for Sunday so I can go hit the autocross. All I really need to do is recenter the rear end and check everything to make sure it's tight and there are no leaks.

Found a better solution.

Department of Boost :: GT450 Stage I

Manifold for the GT500 stock blower. Withh required upgrades and parts it will run just under $4k + tuning.

That should work great and make great power. Specially with the OE blower as it's limitations are easily Over come. My buddies "stock" GT500 is about 800hp to the wheels now with just basic work.

That and any blower that fits the gt500 *should* fit the manifold as long as there aren't any clearance issues. The plan with that kit would be the typical boost it, build it, boost it more. All I'd need is more fuel upgrades (bigger injectors) a better intercooler, and a smaller pulley for the blower.

I also like the fact that their stage III kit takes 99% of the work out of the kit because they supply all the OEM parts other than a few seals here and there.

Took the windshield cowl off to access the cabin air filter. Drain was plugged in the wet space and was filling it up to where it would leak inside the cabin through the filter. Cleared it out and replaced the filter.

Putting together a build list for the DoB package. Nominally I will spend roughly $3750 in parts + the manifold to complete the kit. They sell everything for $4300 which isn't a bad deal at all. I think I can scour ebay and take my time low-balling people and get the cost down below $3300 for parts which should put me just over $4k after tuning.

Waiting on a reply for an ebay listing. May have a blower, elbow, TB, and intake in it's way to me by next week.
