Meh. I'm not one for painting the covers. I'd personally take the coils off and individually paint them to the cars color but that's just me.

I forgot to grab my camera today so I wasn't able to get pictures and I've also been nursing a hangover all day so that just adds pain I don't need... From the way it looked tonight with a bright moon and no reflections of clouds hopefully tomorrow should be a very nice day and I will get pictures.

I hope it was under warranty and you didn't take it to the stealership for a simple radiator replacement

I actually think I have a problem myself. laut, your engine is noisy, right? Do you have a very obvious, audible tick that sounds like one of the cylinders are misfiring or possible cam/pushrod/rocker/valve problem? My engine is making a very audible tick on startup and dies down after it has warmed up. I'm about to bring it back to Ormsby's because they gave me a free 3 month/3000 mile warranty for the engine/transmission/differential.

The weird thing is that I can stomp on it have it climb from 20-100 and the engine sounds perfectly fine and seems like it's enjoying it. After it has warmed up, that is.

The motor is completly quiet. You may have some piston slap it was typical when cold on early model LS2 engines. Yes it was covered under warranty.

Silverado's done that forever. Been ticking since 50k miles, now has 176k. Gets better once it's warmed up but you can still hear it. Mainly when you kick her down.

lautin, is my 6.0 the same as your guys' 6.0s? I don't even know, i'm assuming it's not the same.
