Default My little ol' S10

So I bought my first vehicle in March. It started out as a 1997 Buick Le Sabre, but two weeks later it started knocking and I swapped it for a 1998 Chevrolet S10 2WD 4.3L.

I paid 2,500 deposit and borrowed around 1,200 after taxes, plates, etc.

The pictures are pretty crappy, once I get my camera fixed I'll post some better pictures.

Sound System;
Dash Speakers - Rockford Fosgate 4x6 T1462
Subwoofer - Rockford Fosgate 12" P23212
Amplifier - Rockford Fosgate 300 Watt P300-1
Door Speakers - Rockford Fosgate 6.50" Punch 3-Way Full Range Speaker

Work done so far;
- New Rotors, Calipers, and Pads
- New Sway Bar Links
- Oil Change at 142,890
- Water Pump Replaced

Work needed done;
- New Tires/Rims
- Plugs and Wires
- Suspension
- Ignition Coil
- Rotor and Distributor Cap
- Paint Job

I'll post more later as I just got out of work and I am very tired. lol

My rigs:

1985 Ford F150 | 4x2 | 300ci OHV inline six | 4-speed OD manual | 310K | No power brakes | Running 100% - It hasn't driven this good in 15 years!

1984 Ford F150 | 4x2 | 300ci six | granny four | 3.55 rear end | 210K | Brakes shot. Rear drums are doing most of the work. Not fit to drive due to that.
1997 Ford Explorer XLT | 4.0L Vulcan V6 | 5-speed automatic | shift-on-the-fly 4WD | 210,000 miles | Running 95% - Needs brakes on all four corners + bald tires
1989 Ford F150 | 300cid six...again | 5-speed | 4x4 | 160K | Needs brakes done as well. Oi!

Most likely auto. There were some 4.3L S10 2WD 5 speeds, but almost all of the 4.3s had the same setup: extended cab, automatic, 4WD. It's very unfortunate that GM never built a stick shift 4x4 S10 if they did, i'd have it.

EDIT: and i know it's 2WD from the rims

The other day I was doing the brakes, rotors, calipers, and all that good stuff. I noticed that my drivers side sway bar link was broken in half. So I replaced both of those at the same time. Now my truck doesn't shake when I stop.

Next up is to do the plugs and wires as the truck is sometimes sluggish, hesitant on take-off and during driving. If that don't fix the problem the next thing to do is find the problem.

I'd just do the ignition coil when you do the plugs and wires. Get a good MSD one..might as well. Like $30.

Probably will improve your mileage too. It just mounts up like 8 inches in front of the distributor. Two bolts, take the bracket off, then grind the rivets off. Seeing as it's a signal coil, they tend to be more failure prone. Scares the crap out of you when it dies, your truck'll start surging and stuff.
