Very clean setup you have going on here! Keep the hatch, its lighter and more rigid than the vert.

A nice spot for a CF panel to be riveted in. The battery tray was too rusted to be treated so out it went. Still thinking about removing the wiper motor and mounting my slim battery there as it would fit perfectly.

Another nice flat spot for a CF panel. This side was bent from whatever the P.O. hit. Need to install the IC piping and take some measurements..

Stopped here today when it started to rain. Fenders are bolted in, core support is installed, and the hood is closing and latching like it should. It's like a whole new car.
Looking good man. That car is sweet.

The vert was stripped and sold for scrap. It gave up it's front end to make my hatch whole again.

I hope we did a good enough job to hold together for 12's. And passing tech inspection too.

Finally getting near the end of wiring this damn thing!

I chopped this..

And hacked this off...

I ordered a Blue Sea 12 pos. fuse bank for the majority of the +12V hot stuff. I'll use an 8 pos. mini bank for the +12V switched things.

And only a few small wires will be needed through each fender so everything will be clean and easy to work with.

I'm tempted to do a full rewire of my Aveo. There's a loose ground somewhere and it's pissing me off.

On Topic: Looking Good!
