Default Nate's Outback Sport

the "mod list" if you can call it that:
cleared/painted corner lights
1998 Impreza RS 5-spoke wheels
Hella FF1000 Driving lights
Grounding kit
Kartboy Short Shifter
2005 STI stereo (not much of a mod...)

Planned:
suspension spacers and possibly Forester springs/struts for a lift, or lowering springs
A good stereo, sub, front speakers
fog lights or daytime running lights (or both)

Here it is stock:

hubcaps were soon taken off (they just looked like cheap plastic to me)

Fluffy pink dice and poser offroading shot

The topmost lights are fogs, but the lenses are cracked

Current:

Thoughts & comments welcome .

NA flat four , Subaru only used 6-cyls in the old SVX coupes and, I think, the new/already-phased-out Tribeca.

Very little power, but whatever, car is still wicked fun to drive. A WRX swap would be awesome but totally not fiscally responsible .

Also, thanks on the wheels! They need a repaint (starting to flake) and one of the wheels needs the rust sanded down a bit more (left it sitting all summer from when I bought them until when I got tires on them ).

I love the fact you left it looking like a truck-car and not a tuner. Have the wheels powder coated holds out much better

Yeah, thank you. That's one of the things I love about these wheels. They just look so bad ass to me .

Those driving lights help soooo much at night. I still can't decide between lifting and lowering my car . I can't afford either so that makes it easy for now .

I honestly like the lowered look better...but I just dented the nose of my lowered 240 by running over a massively obese raccoon last week, so lowering comes at a cost.

If I went low, I would go too low. Maybe 1" max (probably more like 3/4" front, 1/2" rear).

Few people lower cars around here. Lowered vehicles don't work out too well when snow flies. Airdam doesn't make a good snowplow.
