Default BMW Club

Figured I'd make one for BMW since there's a club for many other brands.

I'm driving a 745i at the moment, and might be replacing it with a used ///M3.

Simply put, pontiacs are easier to come by, and cheaper. BMW, Audi, and all the other German autos are luxury cars. You're comparing apples to oranges, or apples to herpes, as someone's sig here stated.

We see the quality of your BMW on here. I'm guessing none of them lasted long enough for them to show...

I'll admit that BMW ****ed up a bit with my model. Since it's an '02, and the new 745i was released in '02, there's always going to be a bit more issues on the first few models. Also, BMW was in a rush to release the new 745i on time, which didn't leave them with enough time to do some testing on it. Once they saw some of them were falling apart (yes, I'll admit it), they extended the warranty to 6 years and 100k miles, which is pretty nice of them. I have yet to see one of the Japanese car brands do that.

They don't need to because their cars aren't falling apart

Ouch! To be fair, Nissan had to recall a bunch in the mid 2000s because the road salt used in Maine ate the frames or subframes or something.

That would be German cars to Japanese cars, thank you. I'll gladly give some bimmers a run for their money; have before. Besides, I wanted a sports car, not an appliance, so I dont give two shiz's about luxury or comfort. Although... The GTO's interior is niiiice.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. In the car world, you can only choose two of those.
