So far I've put $444 into my car and that's including the car itself.

I still have yet to install the Glasspack though and that will probably cost at the very least $50 when I (Hopefully) get it done tomorrow, along with $50 for a cone K&N air filter.

well if thats what you mean by it then lets put it this way

i bought my crx for 500w/ blown motor swapped in a b16a and that cost me 3000
then with all the upgrades it cost me prolly around another 2000

then i bought my hatch for 500
and my sedan for 400 and spent at least 200 getting it to run properly (headgasket, thermostat, thermo housing, 2 oil changes, misc)
and then 150 on racing seats and 50 on a 350 mm steering wheel

I didn't even take car insurance into account in my calculations

It's probably a good thing too

Wow, insurance, too? Um... that skews the numbers a bit. I wasn't counting fuel/insurance as those are prettymuch a given, but those would add a good 150ish a month to my totals.

Haha yeah. Although that is the main expense for the first couple of years! My outgoings would look really cheap without the insurance!
