Default Contest: Contribute to CarForum and Win Money!

That's right. Money. All you have to do is contribute by writing a Guide/How To/Information thread.

A How To/Guide thread:
This should outline and show users how to perform a specific automotive task. Ideally it should apply to various car manufacturers, as our member base isn't big enough yet for specific tutorials. Examples:

How to Remove Rusted/Seized Bolts
How to Clean Your Battery Terminals
How to Clean Your Throttle Body

An Information Thread:

This should provide information on an automotive topic. Example: Tires and wheels. An information thread would specify differences in size, offsets, tire type (all-season, winter), tread patterns, rim weight, etc. Don't be too vague, ie. "Engines".

Guidelines:
The threads will be judged by the CarForum.net Staff.
Everything will be put into consideration. That includes how in depth it is, format, pictures, and even spelling and grammar. Be professional!

Prize:
$40 dollars for the best Write-Up.

We will also be sending out some additional prizes:

- $10 Innovative Prize (Awarded for the Best Tutorial Idea/Format)
- $10 Technical Prize (Awarded for the most in depth approach to a Tutorial)
- $10 Frequency Prize (Awarded to the participant with the most eligible Entries in the Contest)

Happy Writing

Time:
1 month from today. (February 14th) Multiple entries encouraged!

Be on the lookout for more CarForum.net Contests! Spread the word!

Any questions should be directed towards me in PM.

Hrmm.. I need to replace my brake lines, flush my brake lines, and replace my brakes pads by then... Sounds like a good time to write a tutorial and shoot some videos!

Just as long as they're your videos. Any plagiarism will be dealt with harshly, that's not cool guys.

Well, if using my own vehicles(MY F150 for the carb/manual tut and my mom's minivan for FI) constitutes plagiarism.......

Ah yes, I should have mentioned. Any content must be original. Like weirdo said, plagiarism will not be tolerated.
