Default Loud exhaust for 2004-2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe?

This is going to sound childish, but I want a loud exhaust for my new G35 that I'm getting. I want it to sound loud and awesome. It's just impressive and I think it's cool. I love that low powerful rumbling sound. My budget is around $1,000 max, but I'd rather spend less if I could. Any suggestions? Thank you!

You'll have to be more specific. You looking for a full exhaust for added performance? Or do you just want it to be loud? Loud isn't always good, what kinda sound are you looking for? You could put a couple straight pipes through the mufflers for $20 and it'd be mighty loud but also incredibly terrible sounding. Similarly you could cut the whole exhaust off for free at the downpipes but that'd be worse..

Ah, yes. You're right. I apologize. I'm looking for a full exhaust. Some added performance would be nice, but not my main priority. I'm going for a deeper, low, grumbling sound, with kind of a higher pitched hum when it takes off at higher RPM. Basically, the typical upgraded exhaust sound shpeal. I don't want it to sound terrible. Personally, I think straight piping is a fake sound and it just sounds bad. I want it to sound low, good, powerful , but clean. I heard the stillen dual exhaust catback Gen 2 is good, but slightly out of my price range and I think it's for the sedan only, I'm getting the coupe. Any help?

I'd just poke around youtube for g35 coupe exhaust videos and find a setup you like.

I was thinking about that, but hearing it through speakers isn't the same as actually being there. Also, most of those are out of my price range. I guess my question is, can I get a good sounding exhaust that provides a bit more power for around $500 or less? Or do I have to spend $1,000+?

I bet you could find a used exhaust on a Nissan/Infiniti forum.

For a good stainless cat back system you will be in the $1000 range no problem. Exhausts systems are highly specific to engines, what sounds good on my SBC may sound like crap on your g35. An infiniti forum and youtube are your best references to find what you are looking for. Fore warning, increasing the volume of your exhaust is a bad idea if you drive on the highway frequently, the sound can be very drone-y. Also, if you live with your parents, they will always know what time you get home.

Okay, thanks for the advice and help guys! If anyone owns a G35 and has an opinion, that would be great. And sneaking in isn't a problem. My parents have never cared when I got home. As long as it's before 1-2 in the morning, I'm good. But that's after curfew anyways so who cares.
