Yesterday I became the proud owner of a 2005 Acura! The interior is in SUPERIOR shape and it passed a 150 point inspection with flying colors (I have a family member that works at the car dealership I bought it from). I didn't get the $1380, 27000 mile warantee because it would up the payments just enough that I couldn't really afford it each month. So not only do I want to be able to keep the interior in amazing shape but I also want to keep this car in fantastic running condition. I know the basics (regular oil change, rotate tires when you have an oil change, etc) but what else can I do to keep this car in great shape? Also how often should I bring it to the car wash? How do I prevent rust? Lastly, what can I do to keep the interior in amazing condition?

It has leather interior :)

He has a 2012 mustang v6. What is the most meaningless, useless, and utterly pointless carbon fiber item I can actually buy for him for his birthday?

Guys, I was jacking up the metal IN FRONT of the reinforced sliver of metal that stick out downwards and guess what? It collapsed. The whole corner sunk and the rotors almost hit the ground. I was taking off the wheel to do some automotive repair.

I was thankfully able to get the wheel back in place by jacking up properly the other corner. However, the sideskirt is bulging out a little. There is a ****load of rust. What damage did I do? Is it drivable?

Thanks

Hey, as a first time poster and someone who hasn't been taught too much about cars I basically need to know how much rust is too much. Below are a few pictures featuring basically the very worst of the car I'm looking to purchase and other than these pictures the car looks mint, areas around doors, trunk and the wheel wells as i believe they're called are completely spotless. As far as car information goes this is a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire(automatic), it has 115k on it and is selling for $3500. Also I'm not sure if it matters but I live in Ontario, Canada. Two final notes the car comes safetied and e-tested and the two small inside cylinders circled on image 5 each have quite a bit of rush on them. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hello I am 21 years old, and live in the State of Florida and don't know how to drive. I've been trying to get my parents to teach me to drive for years, since I was old enough to get a learner's permit but they keep putting it off. And well, I don't know what to do. I need a Diver's license so I can get a car and start working on supporting myself and leaving my parents.

I have done the online courses I can do, sign and DUI courses. But I still have no hands on experience. I'm not even sure exactly what to ask thats how lost I am. Every online resource I've looked at is assuming I am a teenager. So I thought maybe people at a car forum would know how I might learn to drive.
