Question Kwik Trip Gas?

Hi, my dad owns a Mercedes-Benz ML-320. The Benz people at the dealersihp told him that filling an ML-320 with gas from Kwik Trip would be bad for the car. Is this true?

Thanks

Pardon my ignorance, but what is Kwik Trip? Is that a gas station?

are you talking about Quick Trip [QT]? If so they state that they have guaranteed gasoline. I would suggest that your father ask for a source or case study that proves their point. I generally trust quick trip gas compared to some other places. Their gas stations are always clean and the people inside greet everyone who walks in. If their customer service and appearance are that good I would hope that there gas is good. Where do they want him to get his gas? The dealer? If thats the case I think your dad should let quick trip know so they can come down on the big M.

No, the dealer said places like Shell, or bp, or basically, anywhere other than Kwik Trip, because they say that Kwik trip mixes different types of gasolines? or something like that. They also state that if there's a prob. with the car, and you have used Kwik Trip gas the warranty won't cover any damages.

Haha And I'd love to know how the mercedes dealer knows where your dad gets his gas from, they must have a CSI on-site to figure it out.

For a company that is only in three states I would think that mercedes has not traveled the world to decide which gas is right for their cars. Also just so you know All gas stations use two tanks. one for the high octan and one for the low octane. they mix the two to create mid grade. I used to work at a gas station when I was young. They are still morons.
