Default Stepside or fleetside beds...

Which one do you prefer?

I'm a fleetside kinda guy, always thought stepsides look goofy.

Haha GM, you might edit the poll to include styleside (fleetside) and flareside (stepside), Fords names for the different style beds.

im torn. some trucks look good in a stepside. My uncles buddy is building a drag truck (s10) and wants to switch to a stepside which would look good and a little more sporty.

now as a work truck i think you should have a fleetside.

that body style of chevy looks awesome as a step side, but modern trucks kinda look like hell as a stepside

Fleetside. You get more space in the bed and better aero.

Edit: And why is it so hard to find a 4x4 Chevy that isn't on stilts?! You can find plenty of Ford and Dodges that are reasonable, but it's a pain in the ass to find a Chev that way. It's like they come with thousand dollar vouchers with Skyjacker in the glovebox...

My rigs:

1985 Ford F150 | 4x2 | 300ci OHV inline six | 4-speed OD manual | 310K | No power brakes | Running 100% - It hasn't driven this good in 15 years!

1984 Ford F150 | 4x2 | 300ci six | granny four | 3.55 rear end | 210K | Brakes shot. Rear drums are doing most of the work. Not fit to drive due to that.
1997 Ford Explorer XLT | 4.0L Vulcan V6 | 5-speed automatic | shift-on-the-fly 4WD | 210,000 miles | Running 95% - Needs brakes on all four corners + bald tires
1989 Ford F150 | 300cid six...again | 5-speed | 4x4 | 160K | Needs brakes done as well. Oi!

The 80s Chevys just look like tanks IMO. Much meaner looking than your F150. I'd prefer the 350/TH350 powertrain to a 302/C4 too.

Chevy trucks look awesome lifted up, and Fords are kinda weird lifted. I'm looking at a '78 Chevy 4x4 with a 350 and a Muncie 4 speed. (And it will get lifted a few inches)

I love a good step side, it just makes the lines more exciting.
