Default intermittent battery light

2002 Saturn L200 (2.2L 4cyl) 120K miles
Battery light comes on for several seconds while driving, then goes off. It might happen 5 -10 times on a 30 mile trip, but haven't noticed it on short runs (2 -4 miles). Digital meter monitoring voltage reads 13.6 - 14.2 volts with no change at the time the light comes and goes. EZ scan says no trouble codes logged. Get one error chime only on the first ocurrence for each trip. Battery and alternator about 4 years old. No other indications of battery problems - it always starts ok. Only thing I've tried so far is to reseat the alternator connector. Puzzled!
