Default Whelp.. I got a new truck.

So, it snowed a little here in Iowa a couple days ago.. and that's when I realized that my Fiero... is useless.

So, I fell back on my 400$ F150. I had the truck at a buddies in the country and his driveway was blocked by a van so I decided "Eh, I can make it through the ditch". I tried.. I failed. My trailer hitch got hung up and left my back tires off the ground. (Shoulda hit it faster lol). So I got out, locked the hubs, and put it in 4x4. I got it unstuck.. but the smoke pouring out the front and the stench of burning clutch was a dead giveaway that my transfer case is fried and can't handle 4x4.

So I ended up looking around for a new truck. My neighbor was selling his Chevy.

I now own a 1994 Chevy Silverado 2500. Gold exterior/interior, 220,000 miles on an Arizona body so there is no rust. 30,000 on a re-manufactured motor and transfer-case, and 2,000 on a brand new transmission. The entire steering assembly is rebuilt, brand new 33" aggressive tires, lifted in the front, with raised springs in the back so it sits with the ass higher than the front. The front axles have been replaced, and all. Almost everything is new on the truck.

Well, Joe (my neighbor) is in a bit of a financial spot, and ended up selling it to me for $2,500. (The new tranny is from my dad so I had to pay my dad $450 for it).

I'll post pictures of it later.

Well.. I bought it for 400$ and wasn't very nice to it for about 6-7months. Me and a buddy tore through a field chasing deer with it one night.. It's an ol' beater.
