Default Pontiac G6 GT 2008 brake pads and rotors

I'm new here and really don't know much about cars, so I need some help. I have a 2008 pontiac G6 GT. I have a bit of a lead foot and stop pretty hard. So after a year I am having to replace my brakes again. A friend of mine recommended these rotors and pads since I live on a dirt road and because of my driving habits. I wanted to get some opinions on them and maybe other suggestions.

I wouldn't buy them off ebay. But that's got nothing to do with how fast your brakes wear. That'll just keep them cooler. If you're not going on the track and driving enthusiastically and just have a heavy foot, i'd just invest in some good ceramic pads and be good.

I was also told that once you resurface the rotors you have to replace them the next time. Is this true? If so then what rotors would be good for me? Also what pads? Specific sites and brands would be appreciated. As I said, I don't know much about cars

You don't need to resurface your rotors most likely. When you brake does the car shake and pulse? If not I wouldn't worry.

I'd get them from RockAuto because they're awesome.
RockAuto Parts Catalog

Any of the ceramic ones would work fine, just don't cheap out. They're sorted by performance level.

Alternatively just walk into any AutoZone/CarQuest/Napa/AdvanceAuto/Checker/O'Reilly and ask them for some good ceramic pads for the car and they'll help you out

Basically pads are made out of a few materials, it goes in this order...
Ceramic > Metallic > Semi metallic > organic.

Never buy organic. They usually last 10k miles or so....

Power slot rotors, and EBC green pads. Thats going to be your absolute best quality brake setup for the money.
