Default looking for a 'quiet' car

Being a real audiophile I'm looking for a truly quiet car.
Does anyone know of an overview of interior cabin noises?

Magazines usually include road noise in road tests and reviews. Come up with a couple of cars and then look it up.

Buick Verano has been applauded recently. Buick went to great lengths to make it far and away the quietest riding car in its class.

Whats your budget?

Lots of older inexpensive cars can be very quiet too, like the 1990s Buick Riviera and Ford Thunderbird...

The S80 would be an excellent car. VERY little road noise, especially if you get some nicer tires. Bring a CD with you to a Volvo dealership and hop into an S80, any year. All the units have Dolby Pro-Logic II. On models that haven't been abused, you can crank them up to where your ears hurt and it's still not too loud on the outside of the car. And the Bass is nice. The only thing I think you will notice is with the older models, like all cars, might have a little rattle, but it can be fixed. For instance, after fixing my door rattle, my S60 has an epic sound system, and it's all stock. Plus, a very nice S80 can be had for a very nice price:

I do'nt think that's entirely accurate, nor do i think it tells the whole story. Case in point: Corvette. According to that site it's fairly quiet, which it is. Until you put your foot into it.
