Default Anyone use Fuelly?

I do. And I must say... It's a very handy tool to have.

I've only added 7 fuel ups to date and my car is pulling 36+ MPG. I've driven over 1300 miles, and will be putting quite a bit more by the end of the week. I'm looking forward to seeing what my average fuel economy really is.

afr33sl4ve's profile | Fuelly Click on the car for more details.

I wanna know 1) who else is using fuelly? and 2) why don't we have a friendly competition to see who has the best MPG on what vehicles.

----------------------------------

What is Fuelly?

It's an interface to upload and share your vehicle's data, fuel placed into it, and how much paid for said fuel.

In return, you get to see not only your vehicle's fuel economy, but others as well.

Each user can have more than one vehicle, so multiple vehicle owners need not fret.

My computer tells me my average. Right now it's 18.5. Over 400 miles worth. I'd say pretty good, considering I'm new to the car, and it's rated for 16 and 23, with a combined 19.

I've been using fuelly for years now; The nice thing is that it's well designed and user friendly.

I'll be in the low 20's city average in my Blazer before long, which will soon be nearly double the EPA rating. Of course my truck is substantially modded and I'm making a concerted effort to hypermile. Note: Hypermiling does not mean driving slowly. I'm honestly often doing quite a bit over the limit trying to stay in a more efficient gear.

Here's another forum that I spend time on. It's a great site and I recommend making an account here - Fuel Economy, Hypermiling, EcoModding News and Forum - Ecomodder.com Fuel Economy Forum

never used Fuelly, but my focus regularly got 35mpg city (11 more than what was on the sticker) and 50-60mpg highway (22-32mpg more than it was rated).

If I seriously hypermiled I could get 50mpg city, but it was too boring for my tastes and I'd quit after a half tank or so.

When I move and hopefully get a good job (Damn tech jobs requiring Bachelors or masters), I'm hoping to get another car (maybe an 04-05 focus).

They do. That's how I've been tracking it while on the road.
