Default American cars that ran a timing belt?

A good friend of mine and I were talking about the timing belt on the Honda Odyssey, and he said he never heard of a belt on any V engine made by an American company. I know there have been a ton of four bangers over the years. But surely Dodge/Ford/GM, have made some V engines that have timing belts instead of chains??
