Default Opinion on 2002 Acura rsx-s

I am planning on buying a new car. I found this 2002 acura rsx-s on 130k. The guy is willing to drop to $14k from $15.5k.
I want to know your opinion on this deal and this car. What do you guys think ?

here is a link for the car :

I love RSXs, I've driven a stock RSX, 2 stock RSX type-S's and an RSX type-S with pretty heavy bolt on mods and I loved all four of them, they are very light and nimble with really confident handling which are things I consider really important (thats why I love BMWs so much) and for the price I'd have trouble not buying one.

As far as that particular deal goes I'm not sure how much they normally go for but assuming you test drive it and make sure everything works fine, an RSX type S is definitely worth $14k if you ask me.

I agree. out of all the Coupes out there for day to day driving you can't beat a integra or a 3 series BMW. Also both will last for a very very long time. I would jump all over that RSX, but you should get a security system for it as they are high theft cars, due to the market for the engines. They are swapped into older hondas, so people steal them to use get the motors.

Honestly thats not really a good deal at all. You can get one with a lot less miles on it for that price. The book value on a 2002 Type S with that many miles on it is $10,000-11,000. Check on autotrader for cars near you. As for my opinion of the RSX Type S I think they are great cars. Pretty decently fast stock, great handling, tons of fun to drive especially because of how quickly they rev, and great aftermarket support.

I'd pass on that thing to tell you the truth. You'll probably be able to find some better deals if you keep shopping around.

Overall they are out standing cars. And the amount of bolt on parts available out there is a huge plus for me. If your looking to get a car with alot of potential, then the rsx is an awesome choice!

RSX-S's respond very well to bolt ons and a tune. There's a guy around here running in the 13's in the 1/4 with just intake, header, exhaust, and ECU reflash. Pretty damn good for a 4 banger.
