Default Would you buy directly from a manufacturer?

Looking into buying from a manufacturer. Would you buy a car before you ever got a chance to drive it if it was cheaper and direct from the manufacturer?

I didn't know you could buy a car directly from the manufacturer?

Test drive it at a dealership, if you like it buy it new from anywhere.

You can't. Only that MFG does this is Tesla.

Correct, as cluff said, Tesla is the only one that lets you bypass dealers.

I have a family friend that purchased a Pontiac direct, but it was a personal favor to her from the Midwest gm general manager, but it is possible...
