Default 79 trans am barn find

Came across a. 1979 403 automatic trans am. Buried I a barn under layers of dust. The car has minor scratches here and their. No rust. Will run and drive. It's a hard top, no anniversary edition, just a. Plain black trans am. Interior is in perfect condition. The car has 50-60k on it. He is asking 9000$ for it. Is it worth it? What do they usually go for in this condition?

Sounds like hes asking alot for a car sitting in a barn unprotected. How long has it been sitting? Will need some work to get it road worthy, tires, brakes, fluids changed, gas tank full of old gas?

Car was sitting for 10 yrs. he has started it in between that time. Tires are all good. It has been protected from the sun for a long time. The paint is all good. 9000$ steep?

Tires are NOT good if it's been sitting for ten years. Exterior lies to you, they're dry rotted and flat spotted to hell.

It's an old car, there's a whole lot more to it than that.Transmission may be iffy, motor could be iffy, fluids could have leaked out and insides could have proceeded to rust up as a result.

Basically the body and interior are not worth 9k. If she ran and drove and all it needed was a fliud change and tires it would be a slightly different story
