Default Looking for some help

Hi, I hope someone here can help me, my husband who I'm divorcing got into a wreck but had our car repainted black from white, he won't give me the keys and the other day I found our car listed on a salvage auction website 3 weeks after he had it repaired. The car on the salvage site is definitely our car, still has our license plate on it in the pictures and the vin number is the same. I only saw the car once since it was repaired but now I'm wondering since he had it painted black if this is another car all together, just the same make and model.

Is it possible to get a car repaired and then still have it show up on an auction salvage website 3 weeks later ? I know this is very confusing, I'm just trying to figure out if he's lying about having our car repaired or not, he lies about most everything.

If the VIN number matches, that is most definitely your car.

Is he legally on the title?

Yes, the title is in his name, there's no doubt that the car listed online is ours, it even has our license plate still on it in the online pictures, but why lie about having it fixed and painted a different color, who repaints a white car black anyways?? My guess is he bought another car (same make and model) and is now trying to pass it off as being our old car, like I said he lies about everything even his age.

Sounds like someone I know...

Anyway, I've worked in the used car industry and I've seen cars turned around at auctions faster than a blink of an eye.

I don't know much else I can say.

Thanks for listening, I should have known he was lying.
