Keep that baby looking nice! I haven't seen one in that good condition in 10 years. Most of those cars have already been crushed. I wish that my mom had kept her 86 Daytona turbo.

haha I plan on keeping it in excellent condition. Its a real shame that everyone is getting rid of them they are very nice cars. That Daytona woulda been nice there pretty much the same exact car, and your mom must have been pretty fancy back then haha

It was the same car, just turbocharged, and the last year with no rev or top end limiter. My mother has a lead foot, but I think dad was the one who picked it out. It's a shame they traded it in for a frakkin minivan. My dad brags about pegging the speedo out at 120 and still gaining hard. Then he says they traded it so I wouldn't get ahold of it when I turned 16, but then they let me buy a 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T with a 440ci V8 and a four speed. They wouldn't let it get registered or insured until the last half of my senior year though.
