Thumbs up 2007 Pontiac G5 GT 2.4 LE5 dark red *BUILD*

Just joined car forum hello everybody Im picking up a beautiful mint g5 tomorrow april 7th and am going to be modding the interior, exterior, suspension, and engine little bit at a time im not a mechanic but a car enthusiast with a dream my family helps me my uncles worked for condies shop doing body fabricating and fixing mechanical issues. I like all types of vehicles its not what kind of ride you have but the person that driving it that makes it count.

was wondering if there is anyone on here that knows anything to help me get started I wanted to start with a turbo setup like the turbo ss le5 if there is a kit that I could buy or a resource page I could read up on that would really help Im not trying to go crazy with my car just boost the hp and torque

If you're looking for performance you shouldn't be starting with a G5.

I'm a little confused. You mention not wanting "to go crazy" while planning to mod pretty much the entire car. I don't mean to be discouraging, but just trying to be realistic.

Your G5 is, for all intents and purposes, a Chevrolet Cobalt. Your best bet IMO if that's REALLY what you want to do would be an engine swap with a turbo/supercharged Cobalt. Or you could just get a Cobalt SS instead (that's what I would recommend if you're really set on this car). AFAIK there's a fairly strong aftermarket/modding scene for Cobalts so you should be able to find a ton of bolt ons without much issue.

Even if you don't get a Cobalt, any part for one should fit just fine onto yours as well.
