Default Dilemma selling my car

I have an 09 scion tC RS 5.0 with extremely low miles. Possibly the lowest in the country. There were only 2000 made.I bought it about 4 months ago. I got it for $10k and it's now worth about $13.8k, give or take. If I hold on to the car, it will lose value obviously. But is there something better I can get for around 14k? Help me out.

Define "better". What are you looking for and why do you feel the need to switch up?

What makes you think the car has gained that much value in 4 months?

It probably hasn't. It's an RS or "Release Series". It's basically a numbered car and nothing more, shouldn't add any type of value at all especially when you consider it's a Scion TC.

That's what I was thinking too. Don't see how demand has gone up for these so dramatically as to merit almost a 40% increase in value.

Let me clear this up. I bought the car for 10K. I got an amazing deal. It was just valued on KBB for $13,800. I **** you not. Is there something with better quality that I Can get in that price range?

fair enough, I had someone offer to buy it for 13K the other day. I showed him the KBB, but still. I can make some money if I flip the car. Should I just keep it?

If you like it keep it. If not, sell it. I wouldn't have bought it in the first place but you did.

I will pretty much guarantee you that whether you got a good deal or not, the car has not increased in value.

No you're right, I phrased this wrong. The car has increased in value to me. I didn't know that the car was worth that much more than I paid for it. It's kind of a fun car I would admit. But I've been wanting a Nova for a while, and you can get a nice one for about 10K
